About
Moore Hope Mental Health PLLC
At the present time I continue to work on credentialing as it is a long process, but I have begun seeing some patients on a cash basis per the interim fee policy that has been devised so that I am able to provide continuity of care at a reasonable cost to my current patients. Unfortunately I will not be able to start care for new patients until I am fully credentialed. Please see the updated Informed Consent Document on this website for more information. I have also added a document that explains the process for obtaining refills in this transitional time period. In order to provide refills I must have documentation that you have been given informed consent for treatment and agree to the policies in place at my new practice. Please be sure to complete the form which lists your medications, and your pharmacy, as I don't have access to your records until I have been able to send the release of information over to my former clinic and they have had a chance to send the records to me.
If you are stable on the medication regimen we had you on prior to my departure from my former employer I am happy to continue your medications until you can be seen here once I have the necessary documents and you understand the care that will be provided in this setting.
If you are experiencing mental health issues and do need to be seen to discuss your treatment plan, please complete the paperwork and return it to me ASAP as well as contacting me via phone call or email so we can assess the urgency that is required in getting you scheduled or take other appropriate actions.
**If you are having suicidal thoughts or thoughts of self-harm or causing harm to others please DO NOT HESITATE to seek assistance from our community resources including calling 911, 988, the South Central Crisis Center at 877-399-3040, or presenting at your nearest emergency room.
Moore Hope Mental Health PLLC was born out of my firm belief that often mental health services struggle to provide an optimal level of engagement with patients leading to lack of improvement in mental health symptoms that people want and deserve. Having been a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for 13 years, and working in mental health care for over 25 years, I have seen what excellent care looks like as well as care that falls short. Often financial decisions and shortage of mental health providers as well as other factors drive care decisions. My dream is to work creatively and compassionately to minimize those barriers to quality care. The investment I have made in high quality technology and patient-friendly applications is one way that I have tried to leverage possibilities so we can meet the goal of excellent care while working together as an All Star Team! I hope to offer care that has flexibility to meet the needs of patients without the constraints that larger organizations have to impose on care providers. Patients who work with me will hopefully feel that they are more than just my next appointment - I see you, I care about you, and I promise to do my best to help you!
I believe that I am skilled with providing evidence based care as well as providing care that is compassionate and authentic. As a fellow human, I know that I am not perfect and won't be the right fit for everyone, but when that fit is there real progress can be made! At the core of my being it is my desire to alleviate suffering, facilitate healing, and improve quality of life for the patients I serve while recognizing that this looks different for all of us. My hope is to understand your goals and help you work toward what you want to see happening in your life. To do this I most often combine elements of psychotherapy with the medication management services I provide and often we find that symptoms can improve considerably. It isn't magic - it is hard work. My mission is that patients never feel alone while they are putting in the hard work. Even if interventions we try aren't working like we had planned, the one thing that I try to instill in patients above all is that there is HOPE - even in our hardest times. I am constantly humbled by the patients who allow me to be the holder of hope for them until they can feel it again themselves.
